This was always one of my favs... I hope this fits the category. Taken with Sigma 50 1.4 (non-art), I couldn't find it in the lens list for EXIF data.

Congratulations to Tom and M-Six! Tom, that scene with the coots and redhead looks like what I see every day on our lakefront, but I never thought to enter a shot of them.

Tough subject this week so I'm not surprised so few entries, although I am surprised that the beautiful shot of Fountains Abbey didn't walk away with the top spot.

Thanks, Allen!

I'll post up a new challenge as soon as I come up with a theme.

And I need to ask - should the new challenge end next Monday evening, or should it end one week from now, which would, of course, be next Wednesday evening?

.

The end day in these particular challenges is always a bit flexible, unlike the G-series challenges, so I'd suggest next Wednesday would be good since this one was judged a bit late.

Kudos, Tom. Loved that shot the second I saw it. Thanks for the 2nd place nod, airfrogusmc, and the kind words from everyone else. That shot of Fountains Abbey must be one of the most common shots taken by those who visit. Hard to take a bad shot with that as a subject.
