We are finally into spring weather over here in Australia, at least where I live. Loving the warmer days although its not really hot, just starting to get used to the changes. the best thing is the wildlife and flowers are great and late afternoon light is beautiful.

Your weather turns for the better as mine sours. Soon enough the snow will be upon us here in the mountains.

Funny seeing this here. I lived not far from there and drove past quite a few times but never stopped. It is a pretty safe bet that a lot of people posting on POTN live close to "attractions" that they take for granted and have never bothered to visit. Hope it's not just me.

Rod

No Rod I'm guilty of this too.

I like what I like.

This looks like a place that would be FANTASTIC for some quadcopter footage. Though I suspect it's probably banned. :D

That's too bad you missed it Rod ! Funny, we spoke to quite a few islanders that had never been down there. Also surprised me that nobody (according to the locals) had ever fallen of those cliffs. The day we were there, a group was leaning over the edge with their selfie sticks. Not even sure they were aware of all the birds that were there, but they had to get that Instagram material !

As far as quadcopters, I don't recall any bans, but I'd be surprised if they are allowed. The air is literally thick with flying birds... I could picture the drone, crashing into the sea in an explosion of feathers ! :-D

I woke up this morning, looked out of the window and saw this guy in the water! According to eBird, this may be the first Western Grebe in my county since 2013! Thanks for looking!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Thank you Peter ! :-)
I consider that high praise, coming from you... your work is amazing !

:) You are too. I wish I have those kind of wildlife you have. I am sure they are so much fun to watch.
