Visited local wetland as the resident Pied Kingfishers chicks have just left the safety of the nest, the parents must be exhausted as they dived for fish constantly in order to feed their 4 chicks

Taken with Canon 7D mkII and 100-400 L ver II

Very good shot, well done. I tried to get a shot but failed as they were always in dens brush and I could not get a clear picture. However I did get one in flight and made do with that.

Great shot of one of the coolest Kingfishers on the planet. Nice work on exposure, a delicate balance on this one. The pose is exactly what I hope for when photographing Kingfishers, tail and crest up, wing tips down.

Great shot, Mark, not always easy to get the exposure right with these guys.
