I haven't posted here in awhile. Here's a male Costas Hummingbird shot using my a6300 + Canon 100-400L with the Metabones IV adapter.

The 1st version of the 100-400L. By using continuous focus and wide focus area, and being close to the plane of focus to start with, it is very fast. If the lens is prefocused on something much closer or further away from the subject when focus on the subject is initiated, it is slow for the lens to travel the necessary distance before it grabs focus. As long as the lens is prefocused near the plane of focus of the subject to begin with, it focuses fast and accurately.

Same setup as usual...

On a dreary, rainy morning, this Anna's added some color.

Wow, been shooting Canon for 10 years...Left Sony because I hated my a100 and lenses at the time..
Anyways, never thought I'd go back to Sony but man o man I'm loving this a6300, even with the kit 16-50 the AF is leaps and bounds better than anything I've touched.
Maybe it's the 400+ focus points, maybe it's the focus magnifier, maybe it's the color peaking...It just wow'd me. So I ordered a bunch of lenses and got my 1st one today.
The 35/1.8 OSS, it's sharp, the IS works great and it's just a fantastic tiny little lens!
Haven't been out much but here's some shots I took today..I get the 16-70 and 10-18 tomorrow and the 50/1.8OSS Friday..

^^^I Just switched to a Sony a6500. The AF is quite good for such a little package. I have the 24 1.8 and 50 1.8. I think you will really like the 50. Very user friendly FL, nice subject separation, and very sharp wide open.^^^

Good to hear, I kinda figured the 50 was an awesome lens as all the reviews say it's better than the 35/1.8 and the 35 is one of the sharpest lenses I've ever shot...(could be the AF on the 6300 helps)
And I've had my fair share of sharp glass. For now I'm keeping my wedding setup (5DmkIII, 24-70, 70-200, 85) so, I think I'm gonna buy that Metabones EF-EF-s to E converter and give it a go.

I'm guessing you'll be seeing more of me here...lol
To be honest, it's been a few years since I was this excited about photography gear...

I was going to get the a6500, but got a pretty killer deal on the a6300 from B&H

What are people using for Flash kits for these 6000 series bodies?
