This might be a bit out of place, with it being a black and white photo?

Taken this week on Strensall Common near York.

Nice shot.

For the south, I won a gift certificate worth about 4 people's worth to ride the Skunk Train near Ft. Bragg --- for 3rd place in Save the Redwoods League Photo contest, around 2012. But haven't used it yet. The only time I drove that far, they had a major repair shutdown for months long.

This year we moved, and I barely even put a dent in autumn photography, but I won't miss next year now that were are close to settled in, at southern Oregon. Just got a hint of color in the redwoods from some maples. The autumn color in the coast redwoods is more like a dash of color that brightens spots that were just green-green before.

What does change color for REDWOOD PHOTOGRAPHY are the needles and RED plus ORANGE ... when the rain hits around October, the colors of the needles on the ground, etc., darken and intensify in the same way that wetting a stone can bring out its colors more.

A day off today and there was some nice fog around, making it quite atmospheric. Here's a photo from this morning, although there isn't much fog in it :)

Took my camera to the cemetery, it's just a really beautiful area.
Thought the top one was proper for this month :)
