Maybe we should have a category for"Best' use of an adapted lens!!!!

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

I love my 200 HS APO, even though it doesn't do MF particularly well.

LA-EA4

they need to make a LA-EA4 adapter minus mirror, I would like to see an adapter that can drive the screw motor but use the hybrid AF system from the camera.

I've heard that the LA-EA3 works without the mirror using the phase detection points, especially on the A7RII. Anyone confirm that?

Medicine Man would know, just off the top of my head. He is the only one I can think of that shoots using that combo. He has the Gen2 70-400 and he swears by that combo for birding. Jason Lenier shot a football game with that combo last year as well.

yep, it's sad, had the 80-200 beer can? only aperture worked, no AF. Sony really should make an adapter that can screw drive like the la-ea4, and all native functions. That would be a huge and compelling reason to get some A-mount glass instead of EF.

I use mine as a MF lens. It's worth the trouble!

I'm considering selling off the a6000 and kit lens to help finance it. Great body, but it is just the odd-body out right now..
