Can't be all the time, I have shot other stuff at the school with the Sony and a projected screen...but never in silent shutter... which, I should find out....if you turn the volume setting down, does that turn down the sound it makes for the shutter... The 35 1.4 has sparked my interest many times but the issues I read about puts me off. That said I LOVE the Batis 25 (all the Batis lenses actually)
