I could not find my extender and I was too cold to bring out the tripod, but I got this one last night as tonight, we have rain. So glad I didn't wait one day. Hopefully, it will still be out in the morning when the clouds are gone.

Almost didn't go out tonight because it was cloudy, but decided to anyway. It paid off, and I met a lot of good photographers out there too! Good time.

I went to a spot I picked out a couple of years ago and have gone to a couple of times. It's in a cemetery with a view of Atlanta. I've never seen another photographer there before, and was a little worried about whether I was breaking any rules by being there. I got there early and somebody pulled up - another photographer. Then, before long there were at least 15 photographers set up all over the place.

Unfortunately, the Moonrise got "smoked out". There are several wildfires in north Georgia and in a spot where there is normally a great view of Atlanta, I couldn't even see the buildings.

Yesterday morning, got up at 4:30 am to see how super that moon was. Some wispy clouds started moving in around 5:30 am. This is a bit out of my comfort zone!

WOW! You guys have been producing a flood of great Moon photo's.
Too many to address them individually, but I have been enjoying them all. :-)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.
