I am so sorry to hear of your sad news Joayne, losing a pet is so very sad.
And being without the computer and last Tuesdays events are certainly not
going to help make things any better.

Joayne, I have been there and it is not easy. Hang in there, and thanks for keeping WWPW on track.

So sorry about the loss of your pet, Joayne.

Computers can be fixed / replaced.

I'm searching for something helpful to say on the last one and coming up empty, just as I have for a week.

So sorry for the loss of your pet, Joayne. I know that's hard. As Paul said, computers can be fixed/replaced (though they can still cause many headaches). As for the last, I think most of America is still stunned on both sides. I just hope we ALL pull together soon and not grow further apart.

I've still been fighting my back issues. Boy, after a while it starts messing with your head too. I did get out and get some typeface shots of a few things last week. Just got around to posting them today though.

First is from a local park where I was getting ready to do a photo shoot. Saw this as I was scouting. FYI, the haze in the background is from the wildfires in north GA. The winds have been blowing that smoke towards Atlanta off & on for a week now.

I thought this was a clever use of type for their sign.

As was this

And a very recognizable type/logo to most of the U.S.

While fairly simple, the little change in the "L" makes this a perfect type/logo for this company.

joayne, I'm sorry to hear of your misfortunes. About the collective one, the predominant sense around here is shock and despair. That's all I can say while staying on the good side of this forum.

lavanut, that's a well-chosen set of type examples.

Computers can be replaced, but losing a pet is hard. I'm so sorry, Joayne.
And the last Tuesday thing, well, that's pretty scary and not just for the Americans...
