I think 6400 is the highest for native ISO. next bump is 12800 and I think that's H1, which is electronically/softwar​e expanded iso. It's buried in the menu somewhere. It's not pretty at H1, don't say I didn't warn you. ;)

The 7D is fairly noisy in the shadow area towards 3200, but I really like the look of it. Reminds me a lot of film. These were both processed with Silver Efex Pro, and I used the Delta 3200 film style, so it added more grain (fine by me). Without the added grain, both these photos looked pretty good.
