I know I was too far away from these guys but the formation caught my eye.

Then I got home and realized that one of them.....well, I guess when ya gotta go......bombs away.

This is a proper re-edit of my most popular image, Sunrise of Fire, accurately titled "Sunrise of Fire Mark II"

When I shot it, back in Dec 2012, the 6D was still being shipped to pre-order customers, and the RAW files could not be edited in LR or PS yet. So I posted it as-is. I had used 3 GND filters which burned the tree in the foreground, and also added a magenta cast to what was already a magnificent, colorful sunrise.

This version is my attempt to remove the magenta cast as much as possible without affecting the integrity of the image, and also to blend the foreground more realistically and remove the unnatural darkening of the GND filters.

For anyone interested to reference the original shot, here's the link:

What fantastic light and beautiful layering of distant buildings.
