A shot of the San Antonio Tower of the Americas using the FE 55 handheld.

Thinking about our police officer that was slain earlier today at police headquarters.

This model of Chicago shows the junction of the two branches of the Chicago River known as Wolf's Point. Here's a drawing of how Wolf's Point looked in 1832. The building on the left with the sign post is Wolf's Tavern and is where the family of my 2nd great grandfather stayed briefly after arriving from New York to settle on land purchased nearby.

My pleasure, especially since I haven't been taking many photos of late.

If you do a Google Map search for Sherman Corners, Illinois, the pin will be right at the intersection of highway 120 and N. Milwaukee Ave. Here's a section from Google Maps that shows Sherman Corners and a 2nd view with a plat map from 1861 outlining properties and their owners I superimposed. Phineas Sherman's I outlined in yellow. The maps line up surprisingly well.

shot an early morning sunrise, LA Harbor lighthouse from far away, not going to do all that walking :-P

smooth reflections x 96?

I love the colors and how the mountains behind it are just barely visible. Fantastic

From my trip back in October, it had been flagged to edit, so I took a break from the architecture shoot to finish it. I am going to miss that job site visit.

Charlie, the sky is on fire on that shot. Love the reflection.

I shot with the Laowa 12 lens this morning in the city. I like how much coverage you can get at 12mm. Also, I was able to get in some creative compositions because of the ultra wide angle. I won't be able to edit them until next week as I will be out of town for Thanksgiving.

Except you don't have the extreme distortion of a fish-eye so its not as gimmicky.

yes i use both for landscapes, the rok fish and the rok 14mm,the fish is a bit more work to get looking straight,i have a 12mm f2 for my m43 and I've used it on the sony with an adapter but i prefer the 14 on the sony,i liked the 14mm so much i have it in 2 mounts.
i have wondered about the canon 12mm full frame fish eye,i believe adivitan has it for his sony. i would like to try one of those out
