We headed up to British Columbia this last weekend to go to the annual Festival, held in Harrison Mills, to celebrate the largest gathering of BEs in N. America. Happens every year at this time when the salmon come down from AK to spawn; but, was somewhat light this year because we've had SO much rain, that the river is about 12-15ft above where it normally runs, so the Eagles don't have as many sand bars and such to land on to feed. There were still an impressive number of birds, and shooting from a moving boat gave the camera kit a bit of a challenge (which it stood up to admirably, IMO)...
