I've put my 1D3 up for sale as I'm moving to a new full frame for my landscape work.

... Having said that, the 1D3 is also a terrific camera. I need to sell mine now but am terrible at that...

Check out Fred Mirand Buy/Sell (external link). Gear typically sells pretty quickly over there. I posted my 1D3 for sale, but removed it, but kept getting lots of offers, even more than what I posted.

Thanks for the tip, Methodical. I am a member of that site but have yet to post something, so nobody knows me there. And as I have no feedback anywhere (never sold anything, I always keep everything  ), I don't think my 1DIII would sell too quickly. Maybe I should put it up for sale here, at POTN, where people know me. I'm really really bad at selling things...

I was in your boat, too, we all were. You just need to try and see what happens. You need to start somewhere, even if it's on Ebay, where you can up the price to cover their costs. There's always someone willing to buy this stuff.
