I am impressed at how much better the AF system is than my 5D2...I know its really old tech...but I was still skeptical after shooting mirrorless for the last year...
just a few quick snaps this evening in fading fast light...I have the camera for a week...I can tell I will probably end up with one...

Well I bowed to peer group pressure and got the 24-70 2.8 II. I just got it. I must say this is sharper and better than the v1. The detail I am getting is amazing.

Here is a test shot. OOC, with camera faithful and some sharpness applied on import and exported from LR to jpg

Nice shots! Where have you been? I've missed your Chicago shots (my hometown)!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Pretty impressed with the noise at high ISO...this was at 6400, with a little NR applied in PS.

Its funny...I shot Canon for 10 years...then for the last year have been using Sony...I had to fumble my way around the Canon menus...they changed a good bit...

I am not "back" yet...never really left either LOL!

I love the files and resolution of the Sony...but the lens options are still limited and I have my Canon lenses that I love too...I have been using them adapted...and that has some limitations. The Sony also cant do sports/motorsports...which is why I still have all.of my Canon gear...my work has a wide variety., and one system isnt really covering all of it.

Understood...

I think my solution is to move the wife to the fuji land... then I get both worlds covered.
