I appreciate any advice. Thank you for commenting. I was trying to get a burst out in the field but it wasn't the most important thing to me. I was concentrating on the right exposure as there was quite a bit of shadows at the time. It was shot with my inexpensive 10-18m lens and hand held. Usually I can do a longer shutter when I bring the tripod but when I'm hiking in this area I hate to be heavier than I need to be in the bag.

Just beautiful. Warm, Christmasy tones. Love it.

Something a little different for today's post. Shot during a First Friday's downtown event.

City Hall on clear days has viewing from like 9-5 Monday thru Friday. Nothing available in the evening.

It's actually like 3 floors below the top. The Mayor's office is on the top floor and no one is allowed there. You are escorted by a guard when you go up. You take the elevator and then have to walk the next flight and half up.

I've got a few more image of things that are interesting that I will post sometime in the future.

I like point of view from this corner. I would like to go back and get more of the floor art work in the future.
