Can't think of a more appropriate image for the first post on page 1000 than one of your fox photos. Just outstanding as usual.

Thats no good, well hope they sort it out, I guess I've been so lucky with all my canon cameras, never had an issue so never had to resort to sending a camera in to Canon, often wondered what their service was like in Australia. I had an issue with my Fuji X100 and and sent it into Fuji Australia, it was out of warranty yet they had it back with a whole new lens assembly and running perfect within 10 days and no charge. cant fault them, hope Canon service is the same

hi well my experienc of their service so far so good julie as i sent them an original 100 - 400 mk 1 a few years ago now that had a focussing issue and internal moud that i had bought second hand ( like a fool ) and they repaired it ok but at a cost and it worked well on return and so i am hopeful they have fixed the 7dmk 11 focus issues and as the camera has been around now for awhile hopefully the canon techs have had some experience with it by now

so we shall see how it pans out over the next week or three - only taken a couple of shots with it so far and it looks ok but time will tell and i intend to give it a real workout side by side with my very good 600 D and my good 100-400 mk1 and compare the 7dmk11 with the 100-400 mk 11 with it shot by shot and hopefully it comes out on top - will also shoot it with a few of my other lenses just to be sure and i also have that good 70 - 200 f4 IS in my dry cabinet

loved those dog agility shots julie - yu have a talent - i know they are not easy to nail

cheers and best rob

These two are definitely out of focus, not the 7DII's fault (the Sigma 50 just isnt a fast focusing lens) but it somehow made for a some good looking pictures regardless
