We see a lot of images of beautiful people and I wondered if we could see some full frame images of faces with character? Beauty certainly could include character so it is up to your definition.

The challenge begins when posted, and will end on Sunday, Nov 27, 2016 at midnight in your time zone. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

CHALLENGE RULES:
1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, (not just DSLR)
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: See standard P.O.T.N. Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
6. Details: Show camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting: Please, NO COMMENTING DURING CHALLENGE feel free to comment in this thread after a winner is declared.
8. Content: Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
9. Have questions? PM me.
10. Have FUN!

* THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED! A new challenge should be posted ASAP after you have been declared the winner.

Second place finisher in the Winter Festival pie eating contest. He was beat by a teen who's getting the "evil eye" stare.

The Challenge is now Closed.

Well, I don't know if it was the holiday weekend in the U.S. or the subject that kept the post count down but the results are as follows:

DesolateMirror: Actually there are 3 faces in this image and they are all very interesting and fun. Any of the three would be interesting in full frame and they are all "characters".

OldCrow: This image would have been a standout if there were 100 entries and fits the challenge of Faces with Character perfectly. The pie on the mouth adds the final touch to the focused eyes. A very interesting study.

First Place and Winner: OldCrow

Honorable Mention: DesolateMirror

Passing the baton back to OldCrow for the next challenge.

Thanks Paul for the kind comments.

I'll get the next challenge up in a few minutes. Need to think of a topic.

DM, I like the player with his tongue between his teeth. Dangerous place to put it playing that game though. Nice photo.
