I imagine it is very beautiful. However i have not planned a trip to the US yet. Beeing from europe i think to get the most of the US i would need to get at least a month of time to visit the west coast, maybe coupled with a road trip to the east coast or the other way round.

That would be one hell of a road trip. I've always found it interesting how fascinated people from outside of the US are with the idea of going on road trips here. I suspect that its because other parts of the world aren't used to the huge expanses of land we have here so there's a sense of adventure in it. I've been playing Final Fantasy XV, and it seems they went with a very American theme with the game world.....and the game itself is sort of a Japanese romanticization of an American road trip with your buddies.

I just think its a way of seeing as much as possible of the US. Since ticket prices are not cheap it would be stupid to stay like two weeks in the same place. Althought im pretty sure one could stay weeks in LA alone :)

Continuing with Mono Lake. These shots were taken the following morning at sunrise. We were in for a treat this time.

Both shot with the FE 24-70/4

Quiet in here. Everyone out shooting...? :)

The features surrounding that lake look out of this world? Looks volcanic? Nice warm skies though.

Did an early morning shoot, had to arrive by 5:30 for this shot, any later, and you risk losing the light.

Another nice set of shots Nadim. As maligned as the 24-70 F4 IS, I've always found the real world images to be quite good.

What's that yellow thing on the steering wheel? I can't imagine it is a club. The car doesn't look like anything someone would steal (at least in Dallas).

I agree. The US is a very diverse country and there's a lot to see....but it would take more than two weeks to get from coast to the other ;-)a

looks like a club of some sort for sure..

you'd be surprised what can be in an a car that looks like that ..

atleast in nyc.. youll see these old 90's civics ,bmw's , nissans etc.. all rusty and beat up on the outside , but are weekend warriors with thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars worth of performance racing parts

i dont know that to be the case with this car ,,, i'm just saying:-)

Borrowed an FE 55 1.8 from a friend...considering getting another one. I've forgotton how good this lens is.

I think I need a dual system of sorts....GM for paid stuff, small primes for personal stuff.

Plus I think the rendering of the GM lenses is better for my paid work, and I like the Zeiss look (Sony Zeiss and "real" zeiss) for my personal stuff.

Good idea Carlo. I enjoy the small primes.

If anyone is interested in an epic road trip, here is the most efficient route to see all states and national parks in the US. Set aside 2 months.
