This is my 1st attempt at a target using Ha and OIII then generating a synthetic green with Astronomy Tools. I'm pretty happy with this especially with a 99% Full Moon in a Red Zone. Any suggestions are welcome.

Beautiful.

You used 2 different camera bodies Simultaneously? So, I'm assuming you processed each bodies set of images separately? Then merged the 2 separate masters together? Just curious, I'm very new to all this, still trying to understand everything.

Below is an image of how I image with 2 cameras. I get them lined up with the same view (as close as I can get). I can use them both for narrowband like in the Veil image(Ha and OIII). I can use one Narrowband and one RGB or both RGB. I process each camera's set independently except for one thing. A wonderful and simple trick in DSS that someone told me about. I process the first set on images in DSS, I then take the reference frame from that set and put that "Light Frame" in with the next set of images. I make it the reference frame for the next set, and uncheck it. This way it's used to line everything up with the exact same orientation of the other camera, but DSS does not use the actual image in the stack. This makes it very easy to combine the images in Photoshop. Astronomy Actions in PS has an action just for what I did in this image. I give it the processed Ha image (Red Channel), OIII image (Blue Channel), it then produces a synthetic Green Channel so the colors look correct. A draw back to the systhetic green is that the the color green won't actually show up in the finial image. The green gets replaced with a blue. However you don't really see green in DSO's. I'll put up some examples of the Ha, OIII, Ha+OIII+Synth Green and RGB. If you look at the Battery Tended box you will see where the green is replaced. And the Yellow is more Orange

Hey Toxic, I have a dumb question for you. When you dual mount your scopes like that, how does that work with your mount? Do you have to rotate your declination axis 90 degrees from north? And can your mount then re-align itself even when it's pointing 90 degrees off from north? Or do you have a mounting plate that you can rotate without rotating the declination axis?

Yes you rotate it 90 degrees. During alignment setup when it says to put the mount on the alignment marks you just line the clutch knob's screw head up with the tick mark. Technically it's rotated 90 degrees, but the mount doesn't really know or care. The ADM hub has really nice marks on each side (0 and 180 degrees), but it could really use 90 ans 270 marks just for the dual setup, I went ahead and made my own mark.

Here's the ADM stuff
