I love the lensbaby edge 50 with 35mm film, It is a tilt lens but no shift. Tilts in all directions about 15 degrees

I also have the tilt shift adapter for my Mamyia RZ67 but the tilt is limited compared to the edge 50.

Wow....just received my new to me canon elan 7ne. I must say that I'm pretty impressed with it, can't wait to get out and shoot a few rolls with it. This is the most modern film camera I've ever had. All the others over the years have all been from the 60's and 70's. Anyone else shooting with one of these, would appreciate your thoughts, and or tips.

Hey, I have one of those! If I remember correctly I bought it from somewhere here a couple/few years ago. Still impressed with it. The Canon EOS 3 has been on my Someday list for quite a while, but I enjoy the 7ne so much it just keeps getting pushed aside. I've put 15 rolls through mine this year - my favorites are probably the "Charlotte" double exposures I did : basically I shot a whole roll of the word "Charlotte" on the Charlotte Observer building and then re-loaded the roll and shot it again, this time of things that said "Charlotte" to me less literally. Made for some cool shots.

I don't really have tips, but I think you'll enjoy the hell out of it. Have you calibrated the eye-controlled focus? I was rather surprised by how well it works, especially since I wear glasses and have heard that impedes it. But it works great for me. That being said, I don't usually use it but it's a fun toy to play with at times.

Oh yeah, also did some similar double exposures on a vacation to Detroit last year. Same way, took whole roll of the word Detroit I saw in a map on the sidewalk, then shot a bunch of stuff around the city that said "Detroit" to me. A couple samples of those:

I have a 7N that I picked up a few years ago. It is a great little camera.

Thanks guys, sounds like this thing is going to be a lot of fun to play with. Michitimm thats some nice work you got there. I've never thought about re-loading film and double exposing shots like that....cool stuff! Like I said, I've only used old school manual cameras so this is going to be a learning experience for sure, especially the eye control thing....Another thing I can't get over is, how light this thing is......Oh well, time to order a couple bricks of film, and let the games begin...

I have one but have only shot a few rolls through it. It is pretty cool and now I won't shoot 35mm with anything else (meaning MF cameras) as I can use my EF lenses on it. I also have an EOS-1 which is very cool too. These are my two go-to 35mm now when I have a chance to shoot film (I also shoot MF film sometimes).

I got the Elan 7e, I don't use the eye focus, it fails me from time to time, also I don't trust the outer focus point any more then in other Canon cameras with non cross type points.

There is no spot meter but the partial is 10%.

Lenses might back or front focus so I would check that. My Canon 85F1.8 works great on the Elan 7 but the Canon 35F2.0 IS is horrible. I also got a film rebel and the 35F2.0 is great on that one but the 85F1.8 sucks!
