Excuse my ignorance or naivete or both, but I don't really get this. I mean I get that AD360II works with the Odin, but why not just spend $40 for the X1 trigger and avoid the hassle of 1) connecting the Odin receiver and 2) the inconvenience of the added weight on top of it, I mean, below?

The Indra 500's do not work directly with the Godox X system. She's trying to integrate the AD360IIc's into her current Phottix system.

Yes I want to be able to use the 360s with my Indra 500. Sometimes I will use the 360s alone but I want the option to use my Indras and other Canon flashes that I use on Odin receivers. I want to use both systems and combine them when needed. I like features of both of these lighting systems.

I just got word they will be the next release (if all goes well).

Not to say they are ready yet, just that they are priority at the moment.

If I am understanding all this correctly it should work like in this video.
He is using a variant of the same flash:

One question upon watching this video:

Can I use the Flashpoint R2 TTL Transmitter to work with one of the Odin receivers attached to my Canon 430EX III-RT?

No, two different systems. If you have an X1 transmitter (R2 TTL) then you would use a Godox X1R receiver (or whatever the Flashpoint equivalent is).

Odin transmitter....Odin receiver

Godox X1 transmitter....Godox X1R receiver

430EXIII can be used on either receiver (the Canon versions) as long as the appropriate transmitter is used.

Is it possible to turn off 1 group? If I'm using 2 flashes and just want to control groups A and B?

I noticed there's a new firmware version for the X1T-C on the Godox site. I also received an updated firmware from Godox that appears to fix the radio ETTL problems with the 80D. Not sure if this is the same as is posted on the site and I can't reach Godox.com right now to check.

Hi, a little help please. I have the X1-c and want to change in CF's so I can have 5 groups instead of 3, I thought that CF6 would allow this but when I go in and change from 3 to 5 on exit I still only have the 3 groups so stuck what I am not doing correct. Thank You

Many Thanks,
Russell.

This is not a CF setting.

Press mode button to get groups ABC back to ETTL.

Then do a long press on the mode button,. hold it in, and then you will enable 5 group mode.

The reason for the 3 group mode is that many (most?) Canon bodies are legacy and can not do 5 groups.

Current bodies will all handle 5 groups, but 5D2, 7D, 50D, 1D3, etc,. are old enough that they can not.

What body are you shooting?

Hey guys, trying to trouble-shoot a problem with my new X1 (Flashpoint R2) transmitter not firing when I hit the shutter. It worked as intended yesterday, but today it will only fire when I hit the "test" button, not when I hit the shutter.

It's also limiting my shutter speed to 1/200th, so it sounds like a pin/connection issue? It's happening on both camera bodies, so that's not the issue. I've tried swapping batteries, turning off and on, going through my CF's…

I read the manual but can't seem to find a way to factory reset the trigger?

Any help?
