Well I guess she has eerie eyes then because I didn't do anything to her eyes that I don't do to anyone's eyes - and that is very minimal at that - in fact, I took the adjustments off of her eyes and left them on her sisters. So I guess my baby is just eerie and evil (according to some other douche who commented on her photos yesterday). Yay.

Not you, the jerk who called her evil yesterday. But if you want me to...

I will add that I cannot post a photo of her ANYWHERE without someone accusing me of over-photoshopping her eyes. People can't wrap their little heads around the fact that people ARE in fact born with pretty blue eyes sometimes and they really sparkle in good light. I know it's a hard concept to grasp judging by the comments I get on a regular basis about Sylvie.

At least you can rest easy knowing you're an awesome portrait photographer with a beautiful photogenic family, all the jealous 'must be photoshopped' crowd can sit in the corner and stew in their own indignant juices ߘ when my eldest was born his eyes used to stop people in their tracks, never got close to capturing them properly. Oh, another fab pic by the way.....

Thank you! It is frustrating - I cannot share a photo of Sylvie ANYWHERE without these sorts of comments popping up. People are so rude. They have no idea what I've been through with my daughter and have no basis for their 'too much Photoshop - too evil looking - eerie looking - blah blah blah' opinions other than maybe they themselves have no idea how to utilize good light and perhaps haven't seen anyone with eyes that look like this. Just because they are pretty doesn't mean it's Photoshop. It gets so old.

You're welcome, I can totally understand being protective of her and being upset, just promise to ignore them and keep posting great pics, that one of your daughter in the leaves is still one my fav ever images, genuinely all time top ten, so keep em coming ☺️

You have a lovely family Lisa.

Keep in mind that opinions of others can only bother you if you value their opinion. Don't take personal comments so "personal". I know it's hard and it's your family they're dealing with but learn to laugh at them and move on. We all travel different roads and none of us have walked in the others shoes, so their opinions really don't matter.

I obviously don't think there is anything wrong with your baby's eyes I just wouldn't brighten them the same amount as Id brighten someone standing next to them with brown eyes. That being said you have editing style and rules in art are kinda wishy washy. I can only assume you have branded yourself and your business with your photos and editing style. Its not for every one but clients who like your style I'm sure come running and are super happy with your output.

Ummm I dont think I said anything bad? I had one c&c saying I wouldnt lighten eyes the same which is a super small point. She was saying she has alot of haters. I said yeah those people arnt a fan but I bet she dosn't market to those people and her brand is geared towards people that like that style and those people I bet come running. I dont believe I said anything about her quality.
