I was wondering why no one had posted any Q photos this week, and then I realized I hadn't followed the thread. :-o :-o

As usual, some great interpretations and execution this week. I learned a new word too with quincux! The things you all come up with constantly amaze me. :-)

It's been a rather challenging week for me. I did get some bad news from my tests. Spent part of last weekend in the hospital getting 1.45 liters of fluid drained from around my lung. Turns out somehow I have lung cancer, despite being a non-smoker all my life. I know Tim saw my FB posts with the updates. For here I'll just say it's advanced, and I have more scans coming next week. Talk about something that came out of left field and totally changed my life. The back pain was the result of a mass that has seriously compromised my T10 vertebra, so I'm being very careful right now until they get a treatment plan in place.

So, enough of that bad news. Here's my Q photo. I do love good Old Fashioned Quaker oatmeal. That's the only kind I buy. This is a cell phone pic processed in LR mobile. Couldn't figure out how to resize & export it there so I did that in Paint. Gotta get my Adobe stuff activated on my laptop.

And yes, that's one of my mannequins looking on in the background.

I really want to find ways to photograph and post through all this. Photography and POTN is my outlet!!

Was going to last night. But wife felt bad so I did not want to wake her fumbling around in the cabinets looking for them... :p

Sorry to hear the news. Be sure to take care. I was getting some in mine and it turned out to be Cardiomyopathy in my case. Just a bad ole ticker is all ......

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy it!!

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes everyone. I still haven't gotten much good news lately, but we'll see what happens tomorrow. Hope to find out a treatment plan then. I don't plan on Quitting anytime soon!

I'm late but Lisa, I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear this news. I'm very happy to see you have a positive outlook for yourself though. That makes a big difference. My wife was always so positive throughout her ordeal this year and it made a big difference for all of us that helped care for her as well as medical staff.

Keep your chin up!

Thanks Kody. The diagnosis isn't good, but I'm trying to stay optimistic as much as as I can. Gotta find ways to get photos too!
