I went off on a tangent & bought a used Fuji X-E2, 23/1.4 & 56/1.2 to give me the equivalent [Ish] Both systems [A7 vs X-E2] have their pros & cons without a doubt and even though I'm not really a pixel peeper as such, I wasn't happy with the detail in the Fuji files. So...... I went & bought a Batis 85mm to go with the A7 [& FE35/2.8 & CV40] & this next particular image, on my first day out with the B85, is the one that convinced me it was a good decision.... ![]() ![]() Great portrait Lee. Seem like it really was a good decision. focalpointsphoto.com

Just a couple from the meetup shoot yesterday, waiting on the release on the other two models...I had never done anything like this...it was fun. Working distance aside, 85MM is more environmental, whereas the 135 creates more indistinct backgrounds. focalpointsphoto.com

I used my little Manfrotto pocket tripod for this and my cheap remote timer with 2 second delay. Im finding this a great setup for hiking ![]() Well done, Eddie.
