I'm only getting rid of what I consider duplicates at the moment. Do I need both 85 and 100? 2 x 24mm? 3 x 50mm? I even had 3x200mm prime at one time.... :-P

not saying I'm selling any of the gear mentioned, but if any on the chopping block, that's how it goes. I do have some lenses that I wont sell for anything out there right now, maybe half or more of my lens collection is super safe. I cant imagine selling the CV10, FE35, FE50, FE70-300, or EF 135L unless there were better versions available while maintaining characteristics..

Both are excellent Vinz. B&W for me.

Testing out my Formatt-Hitech filter system and polarizer. So far so good I think. Minimal color cast. A 4-stop ND was used along with the polarizer.

LOVE it. There are some things you should know about it though. Longer lenses need prefocusing to make it work, however after playing with it for a bit, you just overshoot the focus a bit, and it'll work just fine without tampering much. If you shoot MFD then infinity often, that could be a problem. Swapping focal lengths is easy, adding to the config requires android + blue tooth, but you wont have to do that often, so borrowing a device wont be too bad. Shooting landscapes with an L bracket wont happen, need to add an additional bottom plate.

aside from those annoyances, it's really cool.

of my slower primes, the OM 24 f2.8 and 200 f5 always gave me the most trouble MF, now super easy. Another advantage is that if you make it protrude to the max, you have pseudo macro abilities! I dont typically use 24mm for handheld shooting, mostly tripod, but it's cool to have.

Maybe im stupid but what is TAP? Ive seen it mentioned over the last few pages?

I don't think it plays with the original A7 though does it...?? Tempting otherwise :)

I've got a bigger quantity of stuff to sell than I have bought :) I did sell my Leica 90/2.8 though last week. I just need to get round to listing the rest of it but I think this side of Xmas/new year is the wrong time anyway.....

The TAP only works with the A7II and A7R2.

leica M to E mount adapter that can autofocus. Basically an autofocus anything adapter as long as you can adapt to leica M. Lenses like the CV 40 would mount direct to the adapter and would able to AF right off the bat, same with your lux if you still have it. Older vintage lenses would simply need to adapt to leica M mount to have AF ability. The adapter has fake aperture readings and needs to be set to F2 all the time to trick the system. Set it to F11 - f32 to select whatever focal length you assign. For instance, I have F25 assigned to 24mm, F20 assigned to 200mm, and F16 assigned to 15mm, F18 assigned to 85mm..... I know it's all over the place, but there's some reasoning for the assigned numbers, related focal lengths. So if I mount the 85, I go to F18, take a snap, then go back to F2. My exif will show 85mm and IBIS works automatically for 85mm. Pretty darn cool. I have adapters for Nikon, Olympus, and Canon EF.
