That's a nice looking deer.
I saw one that size a few years ago in one of the nature preserves close to me.
Here is a picture I took.
Who said you can't find some big deer in central Florida?

Yeah, but it's Florida so that deer probably only stands 18" at the shoulder and weighs 55lbs soaking wet.  :p8-)

I was maybe 25yds from this deer, we both just stood there staring at each other, spotted him from a distance and he just keep coming closer.
I didn't want to move, concerned I would scare him, he was trying to figure out what he was looking at.
As soon as he lowered his head I got the picture.
He was much taller that 18" and a bit over 55 lbs.:-P

I have a picture of two smaller deer that was taken not far from this one on a different day.
If I had not stood up they would have walked right over me.

Nice images of smaller White Tail. Yep, hunters here in Kansas pass on those smaller ones, well unless it's the last day of the season and they haven't filled their permit. Then maybe. ;-)a
