Ugh, why do I see these deals. I want to start buying Precision Inks for the printers and this makes it too darn hard to do since the paper is worth what I pay for the ink. Also makes it that much harder to try new papers since the Canon stuff works nicely for everything I've wanted to do so far.

just buy a set and get all the paper. this will also give you another cart of inks to use with precision inks. Thats how I run mine. I have 2 cart sets. when a few are getting low I swap them all with the fresh set and top off the other for the next change out. Because you dont want to replace a cart as it gets low 1 at a time. The printer does a purge everytime a cart is changed of all 8 tanks. This will waste ALOT of ink and also fill up the ink pads in the printer used for cleaning. once they are saturated the printer is pretty much no good. I learned that from Jose Rodriguez on youtube

Check out the current rebates for the PRO 100.
I know Hunt's right now (for example) has several bundles with cameras that essentially get you the printer and paper free, and a lower price on the camera that comes with it all...

EG: T6 with TWO lenses, for $519.00, and you get the printer and paper free.

also, the PRO 100 is currently just $169.00 after rebate;

Thanks for the info. I'm in the market for the new canon 100-400 and found Adorama has a package that includes the Pro100. Just need to convince the "Boss"

I learned that from Jose Rodriguez on youtube

Jose Rodriguez also says that when adding Precision Ink into an OEM yellow cartridge, gelling can occur which could cause a burned printhead if you don't catch it.

Just placed my order. $2,100 worth of paper completely free......crazy. I'm gonna have to start making more large prints.

Now I have 3-7 days to figure out where I'm going to put it all.

If you ordered correctly 4- samplers 4- semi gloss 8-pro-luster 4- glossy II that will (no joke) be just shy of ninety pounds.
