Went along to the local botanical gardens yesterday, to test my new 1.4x TC III. Came across a regular visitor feeding the squirrels, who reckoned he got the birds to take food from his hand, including robins and great tits. As I watched, he certainly got a robin to approach, but if I was him, I'd have taken the monkey-nut out the shell - I think the robin was thinking, "How do I deal with that great lump of a thing?"
After a bit, the robin flew up into the tree above me, and I managed to get a quick profile shot of him before he flew-off...
