Cross section of PEX-Al-PEX tubing (used in radiant heating systems). The aluminum layer acts as an oxygen barrier to reduce corrosion in the boiler and other iron containing parts of the system. Actual outside diameter of tubing is about 5/8" (~16mm):

Dug out the drip rig Christmas Eve but stupidly hadn't charged all my flash batteries so lighting was not what I wanted but happy with the results all the same :)

I am just in the process of revising the valve frame to support three valves but it needs a little refinement at the moment to get all the drips to hit at the same time
