I purchase the Nikon D800e for its added resolution while keeping the excellent low light features I enjoy with my Nikon D3s (not exactly but close enough)

The image of the pole vaulter was shot at 6400 ISO.

I had done a test shoot at sunrise using the newer D810 and found that the D800e did what I wanted at a lower cost
