My guess is that it is the 135L, which is why I am itching to get my hands on one!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

bokeh is from lens, I used a 5DMIII body with an 85mm f/1.2 lens wide open at 1.2

We typically favor the 135mm but this shot was actually with the 85mm, we're prime lens junkies.. lol

I am very curious, having owned the 135 and now looking for an 85mm, what makes you favor the 135?

Not on this shot, but that is our other go to lens. We actually use our 135L the majority of the time.

The bokeh has a unique look to it compared to other lenses... hard to explain. The auto focus is much faster than the 85 1.2 that we own, which makes it nice for photographing our daughter. And of course, it's the best bang for the buck. We grabbed our 135L for $700... you can't complain about the price to quality comparison. Also, the 135 is lighter in comparison.
