Thanks! Yeah it shot very well and im pretty happy with it. I need to sit on a bench with a rest and dial it in 100% but it was good enough to play with.

Nice! :-)
Haven't seen one of those in a very long time. Was it hidden away in somebody's closet?

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Yes, It belonged to my wife's Grandfather, when he died, my Father in law took this gun and two others.
He really didn't know what he had, he brought them to me to put in my safe.
It has the original bill of sale, purchased in 1960 for $29.

The second gun was an Mossburg bolt action shotgun, nothing special.
The third gun, as he put it, was on old beat up rifle, when he told me about it he got my attention.
Again, he had no idea what he had, when he showed up at my door with them my jaw dropped.
He walks in the house with an 1873 Winchester
After doing some research I found out it was made in 1898, 38-40 cal, still works great.

There's some more shots featuring beer.

A lot of beer.

(I was around after a proper photoshoot got done, and the model's friends got into the props. Thankfully, we also had a proper on-set weapons coordinator, so there was zero chance of me being blown to kingdom come.)
