That's why I was expressing a reluctance and hesitation about selling my zooms yesterday. They're instant gap-fillers. :)

Yeah I'm not a zoom fan, but they are nice to have, or in many cases, a necessary evil to get the job done.

interesting looking place, is what is it?

It's a private park near where I live. There's lots of forest walks and loads of stuff set up for kids. That image was taken in a pirate boat they have made out of logs

the above video really helped me understand the software ,,

when i first got my H2 it worked ok~ with the a7sii and 16-35 .. but lots of jitters and vibrations when i moved it around ,, so of course decided i would tweak it .. and of course ruined the settings .. it would spin around like a helicopter going down ..

had to get original profiles sent to me by pilot fly ..

anyways watched the above video and started from scratch .. running much better than when origianlly out of the box .,.. still needs some tweaking definitly ..

it was alot more complicated than i thought.,. i was hoping for fun right out of the box.. and i suppose if i left it alone it would have been fine.. i'm not know for leaving things good enough..

been having lots of fund with this and the a7sii.. also have the dual handle

Also, do you have any examples of your 6300 paired with the 28 shot wide open? Thanks

Cory, I have lots of wide open shots with the FE28 taken with the a7rii but I only have a couple with the a6300 it seems according to my LR catalogue. Heres one here with a 100% crop at the bottom.

Its probably not the best example though as I didnt actually nail the focus it seems (sorry thats probably not much help)

David A, I recommend supplementing your main camera with the a6500. I've been happy with my a6000. Makes for a nice travel combo.

info@pilotfly.de

let them know you need original profiles .. and they will send them with instructions on how to reinstall..

but you need to send the SerialNumber from you H2.. with the request.. Serial no. of your gimbal can be read out via SimpleBGC Software. Establish connection with the gimbal and go to the tab "Upgrade" there you will find the serial no.

they responded within 2 days... this goes on all day for them apparently , i joined there FB group, and atleast once a week someone runs into same issue

Awesome thanks!

Huge opportunity for someone to make a gimbal with a simpler, proprietary, interface than simplebgc.

Thanks very much David. With regards to the bend in the bars I was half way through the Lightroom edit and looked at the image and thought "what the hell?!" . I then checked to see if I had applied a random lens profile or something. It wasn't until then that I realised the bars were bent :)

Same here, I've never really used them.

I've just copied and pasted a few of the above tips into a notepad document so I can go and experiment.

I love coming on here and getting advice from some really awesome photographers who are happy to spread their knowledge. Love it. :)

Took the RX100III out today in -20 celsius. Awesome weather. Too bad the battery died in just about 20 minutes.
