I think - but could easily be wrong. At any rate, it didn't seem to be enjoying the sudden chill this morning, with snow predicted for this evening and the weekend.

That's what I would go with. Red-shouldered hawk is similar, but usually the dark tail bands are much thicker, and the banding on the secondaries have more contrast.
