In my holiday I used the Canon FD 400mm f/2.8 based lens again.
Now I have a cat image ( I do not own or have a cat modelling for me here).

That bokeh is ridiculous and awesome. I want to see an image of a person if you get the chance :P

I did some outdoor nude photography with this lens yesterday! Pics are coming soon.

Thank you CBell21!
A part of the images are a bit like those some make with their Kodak Aero Ektar lenses and 4x5inch largeformat cameras.

Another version, now about 200mm f/1.4, made with the Canon Fd 400mm f/2.8 as base lens.
A comparison with Berolina (Vivitar) 135mm f/1.5 super fast lens showed that my homemade lens has less CA :-)

But I need to control spherical aberration more:

Now I have some newer images online. These are made with a modification with the Kipon medium format to fullframe speedbooster 0.7x and the Canon FD 400mm f/2.8 L:
So I get someting 280mm f/2.0 on fullframe on Sony Alpha 7II :-)
The next lens near this are the rare and expensive Nikon 300mm f/2.0 lens or the Olympus 250mm f/2.0. Likely they are a better, but also more than much more expensive.
