this is a great thread! i'm a newb to the forums. i found this buck bedded in a small wood lot after a chase with a few does. canon 5ds 100-400 is 1/320th f5.6 iso 3200 @ 275mm

Found this whitetail doe bedded down this afternoon. She was enjoying a little sun, something we haven't had in a long time. She wasn't interested in getting up and moving from this spot. She was still there when I left. I enjoyed the sun also. It made today's high of 10 above feel pretty nice.:-)

That's a really nice behavioral image! I love the fact that you were able to capture him with his head down and his eyes closed.........its not too often when one is able to do that at relatively close range.
