Nice gallery, Scott. Some fantastic images... I wish I had photos to recollect 2016.

I need to display some framed photos at BC High in February. This is to show some old framed photographs of my father-in-law's martial arts class from Vietnam and in Boston. Does anyone know how I might be able to create two 15 - 20 ft walls?

Originally, I was thinking art easels, but those are more expensive than though. I could make 20 of them for each frame... then he tells me he wants to display certificates and plaques, too. I need something more substantial and with some surface area.

Rentals? Build two collapsible walls cheaply?

How big a vehicle do you have to get these walls there? How tall? and of course, how big is the door?

If you want a wall, figure out your bottle neck, then build walls in sections/pieces small enough to fit.

Use 1x3 on edge for a stock scenic frame, open at the back to make screwing the together easy, and cover with a material that takes screws well if they are framed with glass (probably have to be 1/2" plywood) UNLESS, you can put all the screws at the same height, in which case you just make sure there is a framing toggle behind your "skin" of 1/4 luaune ply.

Rachel is spot on in this video of how to do this.

Lets assume that 8' is too tall, so well cut down to 7'

A standard 2' wide flat by 7' tall would require 7 pieces of 1x3 cut to these dimensions

2@ 24"
2@ 82.5"
3@ 22.5"

and of course, a skin of plywood 2'x7'

.

I want something super light. My vehicle can transport only something 3x6 feet wide max. Some design that can be dismantled easily and put back together easily.

This is going to be in a big gymnasium or some large function hall, so I think the access doors should be plenty big.

Is there a rental place for something like this? Maybe just art display panels?

Bravo, Scott. What an amazing set of photos, even if they are the pick of your bunch for 2016.
