I think the thread has always been for speed-light type flashes, whether mounted on the camera or off camera wirelessly triggered. The parentheses around (HOTSHOE FLASH) in the title are just a clarifier of what kind of flash, meaning NOT studio strobes. At least that's the way I've always interpreted it. InstaGram
