A7 with Samyang 85 1.4.

A7 + Pentax SMC 50 F2. It was almost too cold for Manual focus... almost.

The A7 has something to fix that actually, use their cellphone app which will let you see if you're in focus, if not just move closer or further away(instead of turning the focus ring). Then trigger the shutter via the app.

I was actually downloading the app when I shot this. The connection is terrible where I live, we have satellite. I haven't gotten to play with the app yet, but I've used the Canon remote control app quite a bit. I can't wait to give it a shot.

The great thing is the app doesn't run off the internet after you install it, It connects the phone straight to the camera, without the need to go through a wifi router. I'm using a cheap $40 android phone and it tethered just fine and live views is plenty decent. Good luck!

You all might be getting tired of looking at my crap on this page, but here is a shot of one of my MF lenses taken with another. Using the Pentax SMC 50mm F2 to test the close focus function of a Sears 75-260 F4.5 that I picked up for $5 a couple weeks ago.
