Ok, this is more like it! This is the 22mm f/2. This is one fine little lens. Much sharper, better contrast and the bokeh is pretty nice.

Can you try this?
http://cameralightlens.com/newsblog/?p=264 (external link)
make sure the lens is wide open. When I do this it locks focus confidently but when I check the photo zoomed in it is backfocused by the same amount every time.

Had to catch up on a few jobs today after being away with my son for short holiday. Will try have a go at this tomorrow.

A few from my brief sojourn away to Taupo and Rotorua. Paradise Valley Springs. There's also a bottling plant there as the water is wonderful apparently. Lovely setting in the bush, with some very fat trout waiting to be fed.

The kind of hut our early pioneers lived in ..... pleased as hand held and didn't think it would turn out.

And today - random reflection at Haumoana. The kit 15 -45 f/3.5 - 6.3 does fine in good light, but I'd so love a faster lens with similar focal range for the M5 ....

Only lens I'm curious about is the macro made for the M's...I just think the built-in ring light is way clever.

I like how the Canon EF 35mm f2 IS performs on my M5. The AF is still super fast and accurate, the size isn't too bad either even with the adapter.
