Thanks for your like! I have never been so close during acceleration and take off...those engines created a sound similar to Thunder...really impressing..

Dude, where you shooting at? For that kind of scenery, I go to Trinity river. Mainly, right where I-10 crosses the river.

All in East Texas.

The knees were below the dam at Lake O' the Pines. The group of trees in black and white were above the dam at Lake O' the Pines.

The moss in the breeze was shot from the pier at Caddo Lake State Park.

The stump was shot at Caddo Lake off the dock at Shady Glade in Uncertain.

Shot these last Sat & I have to say I'm impressed by the fact the camera, lens & myself could keep up with the jet. Average speed throughout the parts of the flight that these were taken is in the 420-440 KPH range (110-120 Meters per second). 1D4 with the 28-300 L IS in mode 2 hand held. (#3 is a bit soft but the others are pretty sharp). The last image was cropped tight to the left edge & the next fame had just the tail of it. Time shown for the first frame is 13:06:45:09, and for the last frame it's 13:06:45:60. Distance from me when passing right in front of me was roughly 140-150 feet.

Edited May 4 to add the link to a video of the flight this set of photos is from. This pass starts at about the 2:45 mark.
