Oh, I meant eyepiece instead of eyecup. As in the integrated closing mechanism and the extended eye relief without affecting magnification.

Ah, the shutter. Yea, I looked into it and I couldn't think of a way that would work.

I keep meaning to order one of these eye cups to keep the grease off the LCD. Not to mention, if I use the camera for a couple hours continuously, I swear I always end up with a pimple on my nose about a week later, in the exact spot that contacts the screen. :-P

Unfortunately, they don't make them anymore. I contacted the manufacturer and they didn't give a reason. I don't know why they stopped making them considering Canon is still using the Eg eyecups.

If you're interested, let me know. Hoping to have some printed at the end of the month.
