Well my lens came today and put it on my old 7d light years agead of the kit glass that was on there. ...not a nifty fifty but it's great to have wide angle capability...... feels very solid and was about 230 out the door. I got a japanese version probably no warranty but was half the price of amazon. Will have to post a pic or two...

Gives a lot of bang for your buck this lens , my 24-70L died and I got the Tamron as a stop gap until I could afford a replacement , don't need to bother any more as this lens is a little cracker.

I like the images that come from this lens. What I don't like is that it is so stinking slow to focus.

This is off a 6d with this lens.
