I thought the OP was probably asking where to find young adults who looked hip and were interested in posing. Maybe fashion shots are a specialty for him. Why be so suspicious?

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

OK, I admit that I missed the bit about

"seaching for pretty and interesting girls and cool boys."

In that case, contact a modeling agency, or spend a day day parked with your camera at one popular Southern California beach!

For a trip to the Los Angeles area you might want to consider using Metro rail and bus.
The Blue line train takes you to Long Beach, and the Expo line train takes you to Santa Monica,
two places you are interested in visiting.

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

for NYC, few places you might want to hit for photo opps are:

- Chelsea Market: http://www.chelseamarket.com/ (external link)

From there you can walk on to...

- High line: http://www.thehighline.org/visit (external link)

It's a nice walk that kinda feels like you are out of the city, but if you look up, you still see tall building that reminds you are still in the jungle.
Few good spots for photos there.

Few other spots in NYC:
- Flat iron building
- 9/11 Memorial
- Seaport
- Brooklyn Bridge

and if you have time:
- Long Island City: not as nice, but you can get some cool shots with Urban feel if you head out there
- NYC cityscape from either NJ or Brooklyn side of the water.

I'm not as familiar with SD/LA area, but if you are going to be near LA, you might want to drive out to Joshua Tree National park.

I would definitely take Pacific Coast Highway up, also known as California highway 1.
But if you are more into nature, you might want to drive inland.

If you do take Pacific Coast, maybe think about doing some sunset shoots by the water.
You can probably look on google maps on highway 1 and see if there are any attractions you might be interested in, but Big Sur, Carmel, Monterey, Halfmoon bay, and etc as you get closer to SF.

Obvious ones in SF are:
- Golden Gate Bridge - In my opinion best view are from the other side looking toward SF. You have to pay tolls to bridge the bridge, but well worth it. There are few different vista points there but maybe try this one:

or from SF side: https://www.google.com …37.8107778!4d-122.4765971 (external link)

- Coit Tower - not a must, but i guess its unique
- lombard street
- Golden Gate Park
- California Academy of Sciences (in Golden Gate Park)
- Sutro Baths (there is a resturant there call Cliff House, bit overrated and over priced, but view is nice)
- Not sure if you will have time, but Yosemite is pure photography heaven

As for meeting people, I'm probably not the best guy to ask... but I'm sure you will see many other tourists walking around or at cafes.
If you are looking for other photographers to hang out with and take photos with, I think other folks here might be misunderstanding your question... lol

Would love to see some of the photos you capture!

Best of luck and have fun!
