Every time I take one of these photos, I end up selling or buying a lens. I think I'm pretty happy with this lineup, so hopefully that doesn't happen this time.

I notice your 70-200 II has the older "putty" white while your 100-400 II has the newer "grey" white. Canon started this change about 2010 I believe.

How old is your 70-200 II? Does anyone know if new 70-200 II's still have the older "putty" white?

I bought my 70-200 early in 2011, so it may be a 2010 model. Definitely putty in color.

Thanks. I wonder why Canon would make lenses with two colors of white.

Just got this little toy to play with, a 1986 Industar 50-2 50mm f/3.5 in as new condition! It also came with the instruction book (in Russian, obviously) and its Bakelite case, fantastic! Attached to the EF to EF-M adapter.

that is the true definition of "glas before body" even though it was back in 2009

I often mount the 200 IS on the 60D and find it waste of money to buy the latest and coolest bodies

It truly is my most treasured lens. I paid a paltry $750 new. The new price later went up to $1500. And on the used market I have seen them go for $2100!
