Nice job, but for me the skin smoothing is just a little over the top. Perhaps reduce the opacity on your smoothing level a bit?

No smoothing was done... I used frequency separation to edit the skin... if you look at it blown up in Flickr you can see the skin texture. What I think you may be seeing as smoothing is the contouring that i do with dodge and burn

Do some hue/saturations adjustment to the second image and you would think it is two different competitors. :)
