Magic Lantern dual ISO will give extra DR which will help in lifting shadows.

Is Magic Lantern running stable on the 70D? From what I understand, the 70D is not an actively worked on platform for ML... but I sure did like ML on my T3i!!!

Love going out with the camera at night but this has to be one of my favourites from later last year.
Taken in between passing trams on each side.

I Googled and from what I could find nothing much happening with development at the moment. Think it's still not stable ..... could be wrong. Not game to try it yet.

I'm with ya, Rose ..... I always fear that type of add-on software.

I used the stable on my 600D and loved it .... just not sure how stable it is yet for the 70D.

I ran the 'Russian Firmware' on my 300D from almost day one without any issues, in fact its still on there
I suppose a pre-cursor to Magic Lantern

The 300D was basically a higher end 10D in a different body but with certain features disabled, the Russian Firmware restored most if not all of those features
