First outing, so it seems to work. Still working on the settings which are many. Also looks like my Sunway L bracket from the mark III will work so that's good news.

These are small, but the ones out there are far away.

Jan 27, 2017 00:43 | #1658 First time stopping in to shoot pics of a friends Jiu-Jitsu class with the 5D4 and 24-70/2.8. Last time I was in I had the 7D2 with a 17-50/2.8 so this was just a tad bit wider. I have to remember to shoot wide to straighten as I end up in odd angles shooting and the horizon is always wonky. But as far as noise at the higher ISO I had no problems. I am loving this body more and more. Tomorrow night I will team it up with the 7D2 for ice hockey. Stuff

Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Jan 27, 2017 01:04 | #1659 Honest question... I have heard this statement about full frame many times. What's so different about FF vs. crop, other than adjusting for the field of view? I know about the quality with the larger pixels, etc. but I often hear people suggesting like they have relearn something about shooting photos when they switch over to FF. Sam

In camera is field of view and a more accurate DOf with the lenses I know. On the computer it's more about the clarity and more data to work with. It's not a huge difference but it's noticeable to me in camera at times so I just have to adjust my brain a small bit. Stuff

I use the 7dii for indoor sports with either a 70-200 2.8 or a 85 1.8 at f2.0. I'm usually at ISO 3200-6400 and it can get a bit grainy esp at 6400. How much better would a 5div be with 135 2.0? 1 stop? 1.5 stops?

Jan 27, 2017 08:21 | #1662 I'll be able to tell tonight. Usually at 3200 at the ice rink with the 7D2 and that's about as high as I would really want to go. Stuff
