WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: Part 550 - The Letter "R"

Thanks for the comments, well wishes, and good thoughts. I'll take them all! I'm hanging in there dealing with this mess as best as I can. Yesterday I finished the treatment on the brain, so here's a pic of my radiation mask that had to be worn. I will NOT miss that at all. Still have 7 more treatments on the spine including today. Kosmo had to be in the picture too.

Following the threads from time to time is a good diversion for me and a way to think about photography. I'm slowly getting my strength back and hope to do stuff with my real camera gear before too long. Getting over that major back surgery along with the treatments really took a toll on me... more than I expected.

Sibil, did you polish those radishes? Just came back from the market and theirs look like something from a Walking Dead garden, all dull and chalky looking. Yours look great.

They came from the grocery store looking like that. I washed and dried them. They are still a little moist when I took the shots. Too bad I didn't use a sharp knife slicing them for the second shot. They look terrible and I didn't notice the butchered up job I did until I downloaded the pics. . But heck, it was 4 a.m. when I set up the shot.
